Hey there, I’m trying to solve a puzzle from a friend and after hours of stumbling around with crunch and hashcat, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

I’m trying to solve a 12 character password with 6 digits and 6 letters. “Alphanumeric in nature.” I’ve been told it should only take a half an hour with a decent computer, but I’m totally lost. The list I was trying to make was 5000+ PB. Any tips? Thanks so much!

edit: so basically, I think I know the word, but am hoping someone can point me to a good guide on writing something to crack the combination of letters and numbers. Thank you.
