I have an old Samsung Galaxy S Plus GT-I9001 that I found laying around. I thought it was dead for years but after charging it, it turned on. While happy as it is functioning, it has my old pattern lock on it which, to no big surprise, I have forgot. I researched multiple methods, and while aware of hard resetting the phone to remove the password, I want to keep all the data and check it out.

    * I can’t check what android its running on, but its definitely “Jelly Bean” or older.
    * The phone is not connected to the internet and I can’t login with my Google Account.
    * Due to the age of the device and the software I thought there could potentially be a way to bypass the pattern lock on the phone.

Sorry if the post doesn’t fit here, but I don’t know where else I could ask help for this issue.

**Edit 1:** The device is not rooted.
