Or do these popular registrars block scammers from doing so ? I think I saw someone say that the domain get blocked in not even 30 minutes after buying it.

finite_turtlesI did a phishing test for a company once and bought a domain from the biggest and cheapest registrar in my country. (I had permission so I registered with my phone number)
5 minutes after purchase the registrar called me to ask if I needed any assistance. Even using google and seeing that there was a company with incredibly similar spelling and offering a refund in case I made a typo during registration. I assured them I wanted THIS domain and they were happy to help but warned that people may accidentally confuse my domain name with the other one. Lol.
They were actually really helpful getting me set up and navigating their site. But they gave absolutely no consideration to the security consequences.
