    Hi everyone,
Long stort, i bought a Deco M9+ Router, i love it but as always i would like more from it, so here i’m trying to crack this puppy open, i’ve got access to his Shadow file and i’m getting crazy over his hash, i’ve used unshadow and the output is different from what i’m used to see, the salt instead of being the usual random rubbish is a string and way shorter, anyone here able to help me?

    Here’s the unshadow line: root:$1$deco$d12d45CZve2tQoidyZWiB.:0:0:root:/root:/bin/ash

    Thanks a lot in advance

    Algorithms: md5crypt, MD5 (Unix), Cisco-IOS $1$ (MD5), Cisco-IOS $1$ (MD5)

I’ll run it against 1.5B passwords and let you know if I get a successful crack.

    No luck.

Try uploading it to hashes.com (paid) or https://hashkiller.io/ (free) and see if anyone else cracks it for you.
