Hi,
I’m trying to connect to a router that I don’t have the credentials for by spoofing my mac address. However, as of right now, I only have wpa_supplicant to manage my network and I’m not sure how to simulate a more prolific network manager. More specifically, a network manager allows you, if you are a recognized device, to just connect without needing to input credentials. But wpa_supplicant, as far as I know, only allows you to connect with credentials. Even if you create a ‘profile’ by writing a script, you’re still inputting credentials.

Do I just not know how to manipulate wpa_supplicant well enough of do I have to get a proper network manager?

Thanks for your time.
