I don’t really know what’s up with Amazon’s version of Android, but so far it’s been slow and unresponsive for the entire time that I’ve used this Kindle Fire 7. Not only that, but it’s a pain in the ass to get pictures loaded onto and off of it (Was going to try using it for drawing and such).
I did try installing the Google Android Play Store, which worked for the most part, expect apps don’t seem to want to install and it works very, very slowly.
So, I’d like to find a way to replace the OS with the Google version of Android, rather than Amazons gimped version of Android. I’m brand new to this task, unfortunately, so I’m hoping to use this as a learning experience.
