I want to learn how to hack electronics like video game consoles and not web servers. I try to find how to do this, with results that are not what i am looking for like web hacking. Can someone here point me in the right direction? Thanks
EDIT Sorry I said video games instead of video game consoles

nobody_leavesThere is an excellent book called “Hacking the Xbox: An Introduction to Reverse Engineering” written by an MIT graduate and is legally available for free online (the author himself has made it free, I am completely unaffiliated with the book).
One thing is that it doesn’t so much cover reverse engineering assembly code, likely because that would mean the book would contain copyrighted material, but simply learning the assembly language for your particular architecture should be sufficient; the book still has plenty of information to whet your appetite.
Also, I believe this may not be the appropriate subreddit for asking this. Read the sidebar for more info.
