I’m thinking about using a 250GB flashdrive to store Kali Linux to practice penetration testing and such and also to do other things like browse youtube on Tor (lol). I have to use MicroTrash 10 for school work but I only have 1 laptop. Is this a bad idea in regards to cyber security since the second reason I’m using linux is for privacy and security of my data?

    I couldn’t find a vulnerability

If you can, get another laptop in order to pentest, that way it won’t be possible at all that your data would be compromised if something’s breaking bad, also, you can shred all data once your pentest is done, that’s just a good practice.
