Someone from the u.s came to my country and put a fake collarbomb on someone as an extortion attempt. He was caught by tracing his gmail address to being used at a public library. What’s the most careful he could have been to avoid being traced? A live cd?

He couldn’t have been caught by cctv, only the collarbomb victim saw him and he had no known ties to her family. I’m just wondering what’s the most stealthy he could have been, while still getting caught.

Okay I’m not a hacker but can I get some back story? This story sounds a lot like an incident in 2003 that happened in the USA and I can’t find this story want to do some research this is interesting. Except the one in 2003 was a real collarbomb not a fake.
