I am using Quasar Rat to be able to retrieve audio or control my laptop in the event that it is stolen (I already use LockItTight to track it and everything else). My whole point in using Quasar instead of RDP is so that the thief is not aware of my access (to provide a strategic advantage when gathering data to possibly bust them). My issue is that my Quasar client is not connecting to the server (which I am running on the same laptop for testing purposes) using NO IP or even my public facing ip address. The only way I can get them to connect is by using my internal or local ip address which won’t work because I want to be able to access the laptop no matter what network the client or server on connected to so I need NO IP to work.

Will using port forwarding to the server and using NO IP solve this?
