Griffiss Institute holding virtual lecture series on cyber, information security
ROME, N.Y. – Two Rome companies are partnering to offer a virtual lecture series focusing on cyber and information security.
The Griffiss Institute and Assured Information Security will present the educational series, which starts later this month.
“Several engineers and scientists at AIS participate in a Technical Council, which works to support Internal Research and Development (IRaD) projects in a variety of ways,” said Rian Quinn, chief technology officer at AIS. “The GI lecture series is the perfect platform for our staff to share their research findings and expertise with the public.”
Quinn teamed up with Patrick Hurley, principal engineer at the Griffiss Institute, to develop the lecture series, which is open to the public.
Quinn will hold the first presentation, “What is Retpoline?” on March 24 at 11 a.m.
Anyone interested in attending can register at griffissinstitute.org.
The next event is titled “Fissure RF Framework” and is scheduled for April 28.
